Montefiore Nyack Hospital is Hiring a PATIENT ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE - FULL TIME DAYS Near Nyack, NY
Under general supervision and in accordance with established policy and procedure, is responsible for registration, verification, claim submission, follow-up, cash application, collection of accounts, appropriate referrals and assistance in selection and/or processing payment option assistance through Financial Counseling.
2. Experience: Medical Billing experience required; in a hospital setting preferred. Must have experience speaking with patients and insurance carriers. Experience using an EMR system, billing software and Excel spreadsheets.

4. Licensure: N/A
5. Other: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be an intermediate user in Excel and navigating through databases of Information.
