Highland Medical PC, a division of Montefiore Nyack Hospital is seeking a Medical Receptionist. The Medical Receptionist receives patients at the front desk, greeting and checking them in. Responsible for registration, scheduling appointments, insurance verification, collection of co-pays/deductibles, pre-certification or authorization of accounts. Responsible for setting up patient charts for new patients. Scan and copy pertinent information into electronic patients' charts (EMR system) Training would be provided. Performs various secretarial and clerical functions in support of the medical office.
