Protective Force Officer (PFO)

Montech Inc. is currently recruiting for a part-time, unarmed 24/7 Protective Force Officer (PFO) to support of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Secure Transportation (OST), Agent Operations Western Command (AOWC).
Personnel on Contract
The Protective Force Officer (PFO) will be an employee to Montech Inc. The company will ensure all personnel possess the necessary education, training, qualifications and experience to accomplish the requirements identified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Place of Performance
The PFO will support at the Office of Secure Transportation (OST), located within the boundaries of Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM.
Hours of Operation
The PFO will perform continuous protective services in eight (8) hour shifts as required 24 hours per day, 365 days per year and will monitor the interior and exterior of the Office of Secure Transportation (OST), Agent Operations Western Command (AOWC) during normal business hours, Monday-Friday.
General PFO Responsibilities
The PFO will be responsible for monitor and direct the actions of assigned personnel to ensure compliance of the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
The PFO will be assigned to post and must be thoroughly familiar with the operation of the post and the necessary actions to take during a security or emergency. The PFO must read, understand, and comply with this PWS, the AOWC FSP, and any supplemental written guidance provided by the Facility Security Representative (FSR). For situations not covered, the PFO must seek the guidance of the FSR or their supervisor. Where immediate action is required by written guidance, the PFO must exercise sound judgment, and error on the side of security.
Patrols. The PFO will conduct security checks during non-operational hours in accordance with the table below or as dictated by the FSR. Non-operational hours are 1800-0600 and recognized holidays when AOWC staff and agents are not present.

Security
The Protective Force Officer must possess and maintain a DOE “L” security clearance. Additionally, personnel must have the ability to pass a drug test and meet physical/medical standards and evaluations.

The Protective Force Officer must demonstrate the following abilities: Provide courteous, but firm service when conducting security responsibilities. Sound judgment, foresight, and problem solving skills, possess excellent oral and written communications, and customer service skills, able to adapt to fast-paced work/office environment with accuracy under pressure, demonstrated competency managing schedules, documentation, and automated systems, demonstrate leadership, excellent research and data gathering skills and ability to interpret/analyze complex information, ability to work independently within the bounds and guidelines of the contract requirements and client, knowledge of and experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to work and communicate with diverse group of customers and clients within and outside the Federal Government.
The Protective Force Officer must present a professional demeanor at all times while on site. The Protective Force Officer shall treat all persons with courtesy and respect; striving to earn positive feedback of customers.
