Reporting to the nursing program director and the dean of the college, the Pediatric and General Nursing Instructor supports the mission, purpose, and goals of City College at Montana State University Billings. Responsibilities include teaching up to 30 credit hours per academic year of pediatric and general nursing courses in the Associate of Science degree in Registered Nursing, and the Certificate of Applied Science degree in Practical Nursing programs. The successful candidate will provide hospital clinical and skill lab coordination, and will participate in curriculum and course development, as well as outcomes assessment. The Pediatric and General Nursing faculty is expected to participate in City College and MSU Billings committee assignments and activities, scholarly activity, online course development and delivery, teaching at non-traditional times, advising and recruiting students, grant writing, and community service.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires sufficient mobility to work in a college with hands-on programs and operations, operate office equipment, able to lift, push or pull at least 50 lbs. Additional physical demands may include: stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching overhead and horizontally, repetitive hand movements, sitting for extended periods of time, and 4–6 hours of screen time per day.
