Montana Broom & Brush Supply, Co. is Hiring a Distribution Sales Consultant Near Helena, MT

As a distribution sales consultant at Montana Broom and Brush, you will be responsible for consulting with customer on office products, facility and janitorial, food grade products as well as transactional furniture. At Montana Broom and Brush, our proven sales process is to identify target customers, set appointments with decision makers, diligently identify customer needs, present relevant solutions, ask for the sale, deliver, install, train, and follow-up consistently. Through our proven process, we form long-term mutually beneficial relationships with our customers by becoming partners in their business goals and office productivity needs.

· Manage a list of accounts

Develop new revenue opportunities through prospecting, leads and referrals

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following:

· Understand and utilize the proper use of software systems

· Know who and what your resources are

· Visit customers face to face at their place of business on a consistent basis

· Take and place orders on a daily basis

· Handle returns and work with customer service to give customer credits

· Work with other departments to ensure the customer experience is seamless

· Develop price plans to compete and win the business

· Conduct Business Reviews to provide value to the customer

· Flexibility to adjust your schedule and prioritize customer requests

· To be able to follow procedures and processes effectively and efficiently

· Understand and use the company’s enterprise systems -DDMS, DDI, and Acsellerate

The functional areas of the Company this position will work with on a daily basis are:

· Customer Service

· Purchasing

· Warehouse/Operations

· Installation

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor's degree in business related field preferred

· Previous experience in outside, B2B sales is preferred

LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, profession journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office including Excel.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discount, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

· Ability to lift 50lbs

· Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time

· Ability to go up and down stairs

· Valid driver’s license and reliable form of transportation
