The Business Intelligence Analyst will gather, clean, and analyze data from various sources to ingest in reporting systems for business users to consume during their decision-making process. The candidate will use a range of tools and methodologies to create products aimed at uncovering insights and exposing business opportunities. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have exemplary communication skills for all audiences and a solid understanding of business analytics. The Business Intelligence Analyst will be the expert who can provide ad-hoc support and help educate stakeholders on data best practices.

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead end-to-end development of sophisticated data solutions aimed at improving reporting and analytical capabilities

• Work cross-functionally, both horizontally and vertically, to identify requirements and potential KPIs

• Provide data analytic services to internal stakeholders to help solve critical business problems, drive value, and build strategies and insight from data

• Document data definitions, key metrics, and reports, ensuring alignment and consistency in reporting across the company

• Proactively seek and frame opportunities and identify business risks

- Act as a consulting resource for data architecture, data model creation, and data analysis across the enterprise - Other duties as assigned.

Basic Position Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in an Analyst or similar role, preferably with a CPG company or within the DSD model

• 1-3 years of experience with data visualization tools (Power BI preferred)

• 1-3 years of DAX experience (filter context, row context, columns vs. measures, etc.)

• Knowledge of data analysis and visualization best practices (data modeling, data presentation, UI/UX, etc.)

• 1-3 years of experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Experience with data management, specifically with data validation, augmenting, and cleaning

• Experience processing, manipulating, enriching, and analyzing large datasets, interpreting them for making business decisions

• Experience communicating the results of analyses with stakeholders to influence overall strategy

• Experience with project ownership from requirement gathering, UAT, production, and version iteration

Pay Range: $70k - $80k annually
