Adult Services Librarian - Programming & Partnerships
We are seeking an engaged, dynamic, innovative leader to join our fantastic adult services team to provide excellent patron-facing services, create engaging adult audience programming, and connect with diverse groups in our community.
Engage our community by providing reference and reader’s advisory services while determining the most effective services and programs to meet the needs of all of our patrons.
The candidate’s knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm will serve to proactively connect with individuals and organizations and provide patron service at Library service points as well as participate in community organizations, events, and initiatives. The successful candidate contributes by serving on boards and forums, participating in local market research and initiatives, and by communicating through traditional and new media.
Requirements
Requires an MLS from an ALA accredited college or university. One year of related library experience required, and one year of working with community engagement, programming, and professional leadership is preferred. Indiana Public Library (LPL) Certification – Librarian Level 3 is required.

Full-Time (37.5 Hrs./Wk.).
Starting hourly wage begins at $21.37 | Compensation is commensurate with relevant experience/expertise.
