Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated application engineer with strong application design 

The focus of this role is supporting both our internal R&D activity

MPS is transforming power electronics design for electrical vehicles, e-bike, robots, large battery package, data center, automotive and industrial applications with memory based programmable plug-and-play products.

Essential Functions:

• Work with Battery Management team members on developing MATLAB and Simulink battery management system layers including protection, fuel gauge.
• Support virtual battery test based on MATLAB and further development
• Test and validation of cell and pack to validate the models
• Develop new MATLAB models and modules for fuel gauge improvement and validation

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering 
• Programming experience in MATLAB and C
• Knowledge of Python 
• Experience with battery pack design is preferred.
• Experience with lithium battery is preferred.
• Experience with source code control technologies such as git is preferred.
• Fluent in written and spoken English
