Manage compliance activities associated with Process Safety Management / Risk Management Planning for ammonia refrigeration systems at three Boston area manufacturing operations. This position is based in Wilmington, MA and will support locations in Wilmington, Medford and Haverhill MA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned as necessary.)

• Manage documentation associated with daily refrigeration system rounds
• Manage documentation associated with all preventive maintenance functions of refrigeration systems
• Liaison to third party contractors and consultants regarding PSM / RMP compliance
• Manage all documentation for 14 element PSM/RMP programs
• Manage updates and compliance with government agency reporting requirements
• Perform system inspections including rooftop and equipment rooms
• Perform daily refrigeration equipment operating condition inspections on a backup basis
• Facilitate monthly (minimum) meetings at each location
• Conduct contractor safety orientation
• Maintain contractor pre-qualification records and required documentation
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions

• High School diploma or its equivalency, A.S. degree preferred.
• Excellent organization skills
• Excellent telephone, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• High-level proficiency in computers and Microsoft applications
• Auto-Cad proficiency is a plus
• Ability to withstand walking, lifting, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, walking on roofs, and working in confined spaces
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read and understand complex regulatory requirements
• Must be able to attend and participate in the Process Safety Management course

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Process Safety Management and/or Risk Management Planning a plus
