MONOGRAM MANAGEMENT SERVICES INC is Hiring a 2nd Shift Line Worker Near Plover, WI

Job Summary: Positions require employees to stand directly in front of a moving conveyor aligned side-by-side with other employees in close proximity and sort, place, arrange, pull designated ingredients and pack finished product according to safety, quality and production standards. Employees are assigned to different duties on the assembly line which typically change throughout the day to include sorting, assembling, inspecting and/or packing product.

General Duties & Responsibilities

Work safely and report safety hazards immediately

Follow work rules, policies and procedures

Uphold food safety requirements. Includes overall good hygiene: washing hands in the plant as required and wearing smock, sleeves, gloves, boots/shoe covers, hair net and beard net as appropriate.

Work well with other employees to meet required line speed requirements.

Place supplemental ingredients when rework is required

Estimate substandard weights, counts, shapes/sizes and pull and place in designated containers

Full and pack finished goods into containers

Report line breakdowns or quality problems immediately to the line operator, line lead or supervisor

Perform other duties as assigned including relocation to other production lines or company locations. It is important to understand assignments are solely at the discretion of the supervisor and are based on labor shortages and product variations

Qualifications

Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job as stated below.

Must be able to:

Maintain balance while walking, stepping and standing on slippery wet surfaces

Stand in one place and maintain balance on a hard surface for up to 3 1/2 hours at one time

Dependent upon body height, may bend over a conveyor to reach down for up to three hours at one time or repetitively reach arms above shoulders for up to three hours at one time

Height of the conveyers are 38” – 40” and they have 3 stands they can use that are 8” high, reaching approximately 22”-24” to get the ingredients.

Observe products moving quickly on a conveyor system for up to 3 1/2 hours at one time. (Would not be able to do this job safely and within food safety standards with vertigo and/or motion sickness)

Work with coordination dexterity and speed. Includes coordination between eyes and hands to identify and pull substandard components moving on a moving conveyor system. This includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This includes ability to repetitively pinch, pull and grasp components

Regularly roll 30 pounds and lift up to 15lbs

Tolerate moving mechanical parts, vibration and high volumes of noise from machinery and moving equipment

Hear moving machinery, safety alarms and work instruction with variations of high volume background noise

Tolerate cold and wet environment in temperatures as low as 43 degrees and handle frozen components while wearing moderately insulated gloves for up to three hours at one time/hot elements
