Position: Director, Azure Cloud Engineering

Monogram Health is seeking a visionary and experienced Director, Azure Cloud Engineering to lead our cloud infrastructure strategy and operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and management of our entire Microsoft Azure environment. You will be a strategic leader, building and leading a high-performing cloud engineering team to ensure our cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and cost-effective.

Position Requirements

  • 15 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure design, management, and operations.
  • 7 years of experience with Microsoft Azure, including deep expertise in Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Proven experience in cloud migration strategies and execution.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Azure Resource Manager templates, ARM).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Experience in developing and managing cloud budgets.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Azure certifications (AZ-303, AZ-304, etc.) highly preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of our long-term Azure cloud strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives.
  • Design, build, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • Manage and optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency and performance.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards within the Azure environment.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for automated deployments and configuration management.
  • Lead a team of cloud engineers, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams (DevOps, Security, Applications) to ensure seamless integration with the Azure platform.
  • Stay up to date on the latest advancements in Azure technologies and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft Azure representatives.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for cloud infrastructure.
