Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Check Cashing Representative. As a Check Cashing Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling financial transactions, and promoting our financial services to customers. Schedule:

Monday to Thursday

2:00 p. m. to 6:00 p. m.

Friday

2:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m.

Duties:

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns

- Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling, deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments

- Promote and sell financial products and services to meet customer needs and goals

- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and follow-up

- Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies

- Maintain cash drawer and perform cash management duties

Requirements:

- Must be Bilingual: Spanish/English (Fluent: speak, read and write).

- Must successfully pass a live scan background check

- Previous experience in cash handling, financial sales, or customer relationship management preferred

- Strong sales skills with the ability to identify opportunities to cross-sell products and services

- Must be computer savvy and be comfortable with navigating different software programs

- Proficient in basic math calculations and 10-key typing skills for accurate data entry

- Knowledge of retail math principles is a plus

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with loan processing procedures is a plus

- High level of integrity and professionalism
