POSITION: INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTANT

JOB OVERIEW

The International accountant shall be responsible for ensuring that the company maintains accurate records of its financial transactions in multiple countries. The International accountant must have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices to do their job effectively. He/she must also be able to communicate clearly and effectively with clients from all over the world—this requires fluency in multiple languages as well as an understanding of cultural differences between nations.

KEY DUTIES

• Reading financial statements to ensure the company follows all accounting regulations in the countries where it operates
• Verifying that all financial reports and documents are accurate
• Communicating with clients in other countries to make decisions and share financial information
• Completing transactions with foreign companies, including mergers and acquisitions
• Recommending ways for the company to enhance their financial health through international business
• Staying updated with accounting principles from around the world
• Preparing financial reports to share with business partners in other nations
• Completing general accounting duties, such as audits and tax preparation

JOB TYPE: Full-time
