Job Overview:

As a Demo Demonstrator/MC, you will serve as a pivotal & public figure in exhibiting the performance and functionalities of our tractor models to potential clientele. Your primary duties will revolve around executing demos, engaging with customers to address inquiries, coordinating with HQ, and managing the preparation of the demo, including executing the presentation of the tractor, and answering questions/concerns from attendees.

This role will be a part of a two-person team. Each demo team consists of two key figures. The Demo Driver and the Demo Demonstrator/MC.

What does the job entail? (Responsibilities)

  • Organize Events: Work with the internal team to schedule and organize each event on the demo tour. Ensuring that the event is executed in a manner reflective of company expectations.
  • Customer Engagement: Actively interact with customers before, during, and after demonstrations, offering insights, addressing queries, and resolving concerns related to the tractor. Position will typically perform a 30-minute presentation at each demo followed by a Q&A session.
  • Feature Education: Clearly articulate the functional attributes (technology) and advantages of our tractor's features, emphasizing their superiority over competitors and aligning them with customer preferences and requirements. Technology demonstration is required.
  • Safety Assurance: Ensure all participants are safe and tractor demonstration area is roped off and attendees understand safety protocols.
  • Logistics Management: Work with internal team to ensure locations are lined up and external sales team is aligned in promoting and/or attendee the event with prospective clients.
  • Computer/Software use: Computer knowledge and use is required for this role. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, CRM software, and comfortable learning new technology applications.
  • Event Management: Responsible to setting up the event and ensuring a comfortable environment for the attendees.

Technical Requirements, Experience, Education:

  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license with an impeccable driving record.
  • Tractor Experience: Preferably have prior experience operating tractors and some agricultural knowledge.
  • Technology Proficiency: Due to the nature of the tractor being both smart and autonomous, must be comfortable learning technology, understanding the data, and its relation to a farm operation.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent verbal communication skills to effectively engage with customers and convey technical information in a comprehensible manner.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Display a strong inclination towards customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns courteously and professionally.
  • Safety Awareness: Demonstrate a dedicated commitment to safety protocols, with a vigilant awareness of potential hazards and the ability to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Physical Aptitude: Possess the physical capability to perform tasks associated with equipment handling, event setup, and execution of event.

Physical Requirements:

1. This role entails frequent travel to various locations for driving demonstrations, frequently requiring overnight stays.

2. Work hours are subject to variation based on demonstration schedules and customer availability, potentially including weekends and holidays.

3. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and physical exertion may be expected due to the operational nature of the role.
