Monarch Mental Health is Hiring a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Near Prairie, KS

We are a highly regarded private practice located in an affluent Kansas City suburb seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP. Work with a great team of nurse practitioners and our founder, a board certified, fellowship trained Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.

The provider will perform psychiatric evaluations, consultations and follow up visits for medication management for child, adolescent and adult patients.

Full and part time salaried positions are available, Monday-Friday in a 100% out patient setting providing in person and tele psychiatry treatment.

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:

- PHMNP Required
- Kansas license and DEA
- Strong organizational skills
- Computer literate with EMR experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with integrative approaches to psychotherapy and medication management

RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES:
-Psychiatric evaluations and follow up visits for medication management and psychotherapy
- Document and maintain clinical records consistent with the standards of APA
- Renew and refill medications to avoid lapses in treatment

Empathy, good listening skills, efficiency and the ability to document well and write good supportive notes are important for success in this position. If you have willingness to learn and good basic skills we can train you in these areas.
