The Monarch Float Pool was created to help offer staffing assistance to our own Monarch facilities. Pick your own shifts based on the needs of Monarch Healthcare Management. Travel is expected for this position and there are benefits available.
Current Float Pool positions are available in the following areas: Alexandria, Anoka, Bloomington, Chisago City, Delano, Duluth, Eveleth, Excelsior, Faribault, Foley, Gaylord, Grand Rapids, Lake Crystal, Litchfield, Mankato, Mapleton, Minneapolis, New Prague, Plainview, Redwood Falls, Roseville, Rush City, Saint Louis Park, Saint Paul, Stillwater, Superior (WI), Two Harbors, Virginia and Winsted.

As an LPN you are providing residents with the highest quality of direct routine care, under the supervision of the RN and in accordance with the Minnesota BON standards, the Resident’s Bill of Rights and the facility Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
Roles and Responsibilities of the LPN:
The LPN participates in the development and modification of the resident Plan of Care, implementing interventions that are delegated, ordered or prescribed by the RN or physician. The LPN collects resident health data and compares to normal findings and the established current health status, reporting changes and/or responses to interventions in an ongoing manner to the RN. The LPN assigns and monitors nursing tasks or activities of unlicensed nursing staff through, assessment of their knowledge, skill and capabilities, clarifying expectations, addressing behaviors or escalating. All nursing activities are performed to support residents in achieving and maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.
