Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Dental Insurance Verification Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental insurance policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule (days/hours)

Responsibilities

• Verify dental insurance coverage for patients prior to their appointments
• Communicate with insurance companies to obtain accurate benefit information
• Review insurance claims to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues with insurance coverage
• Update patient records with insurance information and billing details
• Assist patients with understanding their insurance benefits and coverage
• Collaborate with the billing team to ensure timely and accurate submission of claims
• Keep up-to-date with changes in insurance policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dental insurance verification or a similar role preferred
• Strong understanding of dental insurance plans, including PPOs, HMOs, and Medicaid
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with dental software and Microsoft Office applications
