Description
The Referral Specialist (RS) serves as a gatekeeper for initial point of entry for clients receiving outpatient services at Monadnock Family Services (MFS). The RS will be responsible for gathering, assembling, and maintaining client and insurance billing information necessary to insure accurate billing. The RS will serve as the client's liaison with the Billing Department, Intake Department, and Therapists. The RS will be responsible for obtaining basic information from individuals requesting clinical appointments, determines if an emergency appointment is needed, or if an outpatient clinical appointment can be scheduled. The RS will work closely with the client, Billing Department, insurance companies, and therapists to collect any available funds due for services rendered. The RS will perform duties under the supervision of the Team Leader to support administrative operations and delivery of clinical services.
