Mon Macaron HQ is hiring for a part time production baker! Join our growing team of macaron bakers baristas at our brand new North Raleigh location. Mon Macaron is a macaron bakery and espresso bar. This position is working in our brand new baking production facility at 5249 Capital Blvd in Raleigh and is not a retail or barista position.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and bake french macarons

- Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistent quality and quantity of baked goods

- Operate and maintain baking equipment, including mixers, ovens, and depositors

- Mixer Position - Mix large batches of batter, use industrial depositor

- Monitor baking process to ensure proper temperature, timing, and appearance of baked goods

- Filler Position - Prepare fillings and fill finished products to meet quality standards

- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe work environment

- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate production and meet customer demands

Qualifications:

- 2 years previous experience as a baker or in a similar role in the food industry

- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment. This includes strong piping skills.

- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices (e.g., ServSafe)

- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately

- Attention to detail to ensure precise measurements and consistent quality

- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy ingredients or equipment

- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines

- Full-time availability required

Note: Forklift operation skills are not relevant for this position.
