Job Description:
As a Medical Surgical and ICU Nurse at our hospital, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care across medical-surgical and critical care settings. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients in medical-surgical and/or ICU units.
2. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
3. Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
4. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
2. Active Registered Nurse License
3. BLS within probationary period
4. ACLS within first year
5. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
8. Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients and their families.
