Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring the store operations run smoothly and supervising team members in performing their daily work activities under the instruction of the Store Manager. The assistant manager performs managerial tasks in the absence of the store manager.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the daily operations in the store are running smoothly, including daily opening and closing tasks and coordinating shift coverage/call offs
• Help store manager with training and onboarding new staff, doing bank runs, managing drawer cash count and tips, and conducting hiring interviews
• Oversee that guests are greeted during check in, and resolve any issues or concerns from customers
• Ensure that guests are adhering to Momi Land facility rules with frequent walk throughs (safety rules, attendance rules)
• Maintain the cleanliness of the facility in accordance to Momi Land standards (including play area, restrooms, break rooms, nursing room, front desk)
• Provide coaching and feedback for team members
• Assist with the setup of premium parties as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager
• Assist with carrying out activities for holiday or special events

Qualifications:

• Previous leadership experience in managing staff in a retail location
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Availability of at least 1 full weekend day each week, candidates with open availability on weekends preferred
• Provide availability at 1.4x the amount of desired work hours
• In the absence of the Store Manager, take lead in ensuring the completion of managerial tasks
• Ability to maintain an upbeat positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of effective communication and conflict resolution

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
