Momentum Veterinary Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation is Hiring a Veterinarian Near Springfield, MO

Job Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Rehabilitation-Certified Veterinarian or DACVSMR to join our small but mighty team. You would work alongside one DACSVMR (part-time), two rehabilitation-certified technicians, registered technicians, assistants, and a dedicated client service representative.

Momentum Veterinary Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation is a standalone, privately owned specialty practice in Springfield, Missouri. We prioritize pain management, functional mobility, and conditioning to help our patients live healthy, fulfilling lives.

We have all the bells and whistles a busy VSMR practice needs:

  • Objective Gait Analysis system (Zebris)
  • Digital Radiography
  • Musculoskeletal Ultrasound
  • Two therapeutic exercise gyms
  • Class IIIB and Class IV Lasers
  • Electrohydraulic and Piezoelectric Shockwave Therapy
  • PEMF Therapy
  • Theraplate
  • Land Treadmill
  • Underwater Treadmill
  • Quiet space for Acupuncture and Restorative Therapy
  • PRP and BMAC system
  • Therapeutic Ultrasound
  • Ice Compression

Our team works four days a week, no evenings, weekends, or emergencies. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, a 401 (K) contribution, a Continuing Education Budget, and more.

Momentum VSMR is located in the same building as Canine Rehabilitation Institute, a bustling education program for veterinarians, physical therapists, veterinary technicians, and assistants. Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
  • Missouri state licensure to practice veterinary medicine
  • Rehabilitation Certification (CCRT preferred, but other programs considered)
  • Would also consider Non-Traditional ACVSMR Resident
  • Acupuncture or IVAPM (CVPP) is a bonus but not required.
