POSITION SUMMARY

Momentous is looking for a Performance Marketing Senior Manager to join the Marketing Team and own our paid media strategy and execution. We’re looking for someone who has experience running ads across multiple channels, with a proven track record of scaling a hyper-growth brand, preferably within the CPG industry. This position reports to the Senior Director of eCommerce and will be supported by external agencies and freelancers.This person will collaborate across departments to efficiently drive new customer acquisition and hit overall ROAS targets.

The ideal candidate is scrappy with a bias towards action, always willing to roll up your sleeves to get the work done. The role requires someone who is highly analytical with the ability to translate insights into strategies. This person should be passionate about digital marketing and understand what it takes to bring customers through each step of the marketing funnel. This role supports Momentous’ mission of democratizing high performance by helping our customers find the right supplements at the right time to optimize their life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own paid media strategy and execution:
    • Optimize performance across paid social, SEM, and SEO to drive efficient new customer growth
    • Manage our paid media budget efficiently, allocating resources to the most effective channels and campaigns to maximize ROI 
    • Own web funnel conversion rate and landing page optimization efforts at Momentous
  • Optimize and test with speed
    • Continuously optimize paid media campaigns, content marketing, and other initiatives to improve conversion rates, cost per acquisition, and overall marketing performance
    • Plan and execute A/B testing and experimentation to identify the most effective strategies and channels for growth
  • Manage creative strategy and execution
    • Oversee and guide creative content process with both internal teams and external partners
    • Leverage Momentous partners, expert content and influencers to produce assets that increase our CVR
  • Monitor and report on site health
    • Define and track KPIs to measure the success of performance marketing initiatives against growth targets
    • Deeply analyze customer path to conversion to drive sustaining funnel improvements
  • Partner cross-functionally
    • Collaborate closely with Partnerships, Marketing, Content and Brand teams to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of growth initiatives.
    • Amplify growth through experts, influencers, affiliates and other partner content and creative in line with SEO best practices 
    • Manage external agencies and partners to hit ROAS and CAC targets
 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7 years of demonstrated success experience successfully growing revenueat a fast paced startup, ideally in the CPG space
  • Experience running paid ads across Facebook, Google, TikTok and other digital marketing channels
  • Bias towards action (progress over perfection) with a passion for the psychology of selling online (e.g., developing marketing angles/hooks, unique selling points, scroll-stopping content and offers, landing pages that convert, etc.)
  • A player-coach mindset - comfortable doing work in the trenches while still maintaining a strategic perspective
  • Exceptional strategic and analytical skills 
  • Scrappy and determined with excellent communication skills
  • Passion for a high performance lifestyle including personal knowledge and curiosity for supplements and sports nutrition
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred
