Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Gelato Scooper/Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious beverages and gelato in a coffee shop environment.

Duties:
- Greet customers and take their orders with a friendly and positive attitude
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks

- scoop and prepare gelato

- be able to work catering events through the year
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment
- Ensure the quality and consistency of beverages by following recipes and standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise

Skills:
- Previous experience in the food service or food industry is preferred
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
