Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Administer medication and document accurately
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Familiarity with assisted living or hospice care is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and other team members
- Ability to lift heavy objects or assist with transfers as needed
- Understanding of resident rights and ability to advocate for individuals' needs
