Mojave Cantina is looking for an Assistant Manager to join our leadership team at our Clawson, MI location. We are looking for a high-energy, motivated individual who is passionate about food and excited to work in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for leading the team by example, setting expectations, and driving sales and profitability of the restaurant. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for maintaining a positive working environment, as well as enforcing company standards and values. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, as well as following all health and safety regulations. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for managing all staff, including scheduling, hiring, training, and communicating expectations throughout the shift.

Requirements:

• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Must have strong leadership qualities and be able to motivate team members to achieve results
• Must have strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in a professional kitchen environment
• Must have strong computer skills (professionalism in email communications, restaurant management software)
• Must be able to maintain focus on the job while multitasking between customer issues or problems
• Must have strong time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Must have strong problem solving skills with attention to detail; ability to follow through on tasks until completion

Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant including scheduling, staffing, equipment maintenance, food preparation, cleaning, cash handling and inventory control.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
