During an average month, you’ll likely produce 5 - 7 emails, 4 - 6 blog posts, 3 - 4 website updates, 4 - 6 donor communications, and other projects as they arise. Monthly writing assignments will be consumed by our different audiences: community builders, donors/funders, staff, general public.
  • You demonstrate an understanding of our different audiences and messaging hierarchies and ensure that all work aligns with our brand and tone of voice guidelines.
  • You'll copyedit work produced by other teams to ensure all content adheres to brand and tone of voice guidelines, and collaborate with our social media and public relations contractors to take advantage of opportunities to use content across platforms.
  • You’ll manage and respond to all incoming communications inquiries or route to appropriate teams for quick follow-up.
  • In addition to writing, you’ll also help build and send emails and work with our translators to ensure communications are being shared with audiences in their native languages.
  • You’ll manage our website CMS in partnership with the web development team, analyze and report on content effectiveness, and suggest opportunities for improvement.
