Edison Home Health Care is a leading established Home Health Care Agency, servicing patients in all 5 NYC boroughs. We are currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to care for patients in the home care setting in the NYC area excluding Staten Island. Fee for Services $50-$125
Job Duties:
Evaluates patients referred for home care to determine appropriateness for admission.
Assesses patients routinely and creates/adjusts the aide Plan of Care based on patient needs.
Provides routine supervision to Home Health Aides and ongoing instruction/counseling as needed.
Completes documentation accurately and submits to the agency office in a timely manner.
Establishes and promotes ongoing communication with Agency personnel.
Assures customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
R.N. diploma from an accredited NLN program with a minimum of an associate degree (BSN preferred). Current, valid, and unencumbered RN license, certificate or registration or credentialing as required.
Intermediate Ability to use computerized systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, HHA Exchange, Electronic and Telephonic Assessments.
Travel by public transportation or private vehicle is required and will be compensated.
Required experience:
1 year minimum of Nursing experience - Required.
1 year of Home care experience - Required.
Bilingual Spanish - Preferred but not Required.
