Position Overview: As the Post Harvest Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient post-harvest processing of our cannabis plants. You will lead a team of trimmers and oversee all aspects of trimming and post-harvest activities Including keeping accurate digital data of activities. Key Responsibilities:

Trim Crew Leadership:

• Lead and manage a team of trimmers to ensure the precise and efficient trimming of cannabis plants.
• Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for trimming and post-harvest activities.
• Train new trimmers and provide ongoing guidance to ensure consistent quality and productivity.
• Monitor trim quality, track progress, and make adjustments as necessary to meet production targets.
• Maintain a clean and organized trim area, adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the Post Harvest Manager to coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks.
• Input trim data into google sheets with consistency and accuracy.

Post Harvest Assistance:

• Assist the Post Harvest Manager in overseeing the entire post-harvest process, including drying, curing, and packaging.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Perform quality control checks on dried and cured cannabis to maintain product excellence.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory management.
• Troubleshoot any issues or challenges that may arise during post-harvest operations.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cannabis trimming and post-harvest operations, with a minimum of 1 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of cannabis strains, plant anatomy, and the post-harvest process.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Familiarity with cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to work additional hours when necessary.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/stack totes of cannabis.
• Active OLCC cannabis worker permit is required.
