Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with individuals with behavioral challenges to implement behavior plans and provide support in various settings. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with special needs.
Duties:
- Implement behavior plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with medical documentation, including vital signs and medication administration
- Provide support during crisis situations, utilizing crisis management and intervention techniques
- Assist individuals in developing and improving their social, communication, and daily living skills
- Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and decrease challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with special needs preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with data collection methods and procedures
- Understanding of special education principles and practices
Skills:
- Proficient in data collection methods and analysis
- Strong medical documentation skills, including vital signs monitoring and medication administration
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Ability to effectively manage crisis situations using appropriate intervention strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Please note that all positions must be paid, including internship positions.
