Hours: Full-Time

Responsible for the safe, efficient and profitable operation of the company’s South Texas terminal which is located in George West. This includes but is not limited to:

• Managing a staff of 10 to 15 employees, including dispatchers, drivers, warehouse and yard staff, and an office manager:
• Managing all George West assets including trucks, fuel and lubricant tanks, fuel and lubricant pumps, and related equipment;
• Managing all George West inventory including fuel, lubricants, and parts/equipment;
• Budgeting and Overall Profit & Loss performance;
• Safety & Risk Management (drivers HOS, fleet operations, warehouse operations, fuel & lubricant storage, environmental safety, etc.);
• Regulatory Compliance (DOT, HAZMAT, OSHA, TCEQ, etc.);

• Source, screen, select, train, and manage all George West employees;
• Set daily work schedules to ensure safe, on-time, and accurate deliveries to customers and to support the company’s 24X7X365 operations;
• Maintain optimal inventory of all fuels, lubricants, tanks, equipment, and parts on hand;
• Manage dispatch and driver productivity/efficiency;
• Assist our Sales Reps with Customer Relations, delivery commitments, and problem resolution;
• Ensure the performance and documentation of prescribed Periodic Maintenance on all trucks and trailers as per DOT guidelines, company policy, and best practices;
• Select and manage local vendors as required (for fleet repairs, tires, equipment, parts, etc.);
• Prepare schedules and reports as requested by management;
• Work closely with the company’s Safety Team in order to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations (including but not limited to DOT, HAZMAT, OSHA, TCEQ, etc.);
• Implement and enforce best practices and internal controls/procedures as prescribed by management;

Salary: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
