The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; and keeping records.

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Performing vehicle maintenance, including hydraulics, air brakes, steering and suspension, lighting, electric, diesel engine, air conditioning, fluid levels and oil changes, and general repairs and maintenance
• Reconditioning and replacing parts
• May weld and cut parts using arc-welding and flame cutting equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of shop and equipment
• Completing maintenance logs and work orders
• help run lubes and build tanks when not busy with trucks
• Anything else that may be needed at the George West yard when all trucks are running.

Must have a H.S. Degree/GED and at least 3-5 year experience.

Must be available nights and weekends.
