Minimum Required:
- 5 years of experience with a Master's Degree or;
- 2 years of experience with Ph.D. in bioinformatics with prior experience in the processing and analysis of next-generation DNA sequencing, microarray, comparative genomics, or;
- Other high-volume genomics data is required.
- C, C , PERL, HTML, JAVA, XML, Python, MATLAB, or SQL is required.
- Experience with performing statistical analyses such as with R is required.
- Analytic, conceptual, and problem-solving ability is required.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Field of Study: Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or Related Discipline.
Preferred:
- Experience with computing clusters and Linux operating systems is highly desired.
- Experience in a clinical molecular laboratory environment is highly desired.
- Experience in oncology and/or oncological research is highly desired.
