Summary
Position Highlights:
The Research Data Analyst II (Bioinformatics) will be responsible for conducting bioinformatics analyses requiring 2 years of experience programming in Stata, SAS, R, Python, or other bioinformatic software packages under supervision of Principal Investigators from the Health Outcomes and Behavior and Cancer Epidemiology Programs. This position would support Moffitt’s Cancer Care Delivery lab (https://lab.moffitt.org/cancercaredelivery/). Examples of projects include 1) pragmatic clinical trials evaluating the effectiveness of supportive care interventions for individuals with cancer and 2) mixed methods studies to examine disparities in care delivery for individuals with cancer.
The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have a degree in health services research, health policy, economics, quantitative psychology, epidemiology or a related field and have prior experience working with diverse data types commonly used in health service research (e.g., insurance claims, complex survey, electronic health record, patient-reported outcomes). Stata programming skills are preferred but we are open to hiring candidates with experience using other statistical software packages.
