Summary

The Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Neuropathologist to join the Department of Pathology. This is a full-time position and rank is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The candidate will participate in routine sign out activities of the Neuropathology Service, including focusing on adult neoplastic disease, with full-service in-house immunohistochemistry and molecular testing and oversight and participation in intraoperative neuropathology. The candidate will have excellent opportunities for translational research, either independently or in conjunction with the Department of Neuro Oncology, and an established area of focus is highly desirable. Opportunities also exist to join established basic science research programs in the Moffitt Research Institute.

Successful applicants should be board certified in either Anatomic Pathology/Neuropathology or board certified in AP/CP or AP and have completed an ACGME-accredited Neuropathology program. Experience in an academic multidisciplinary university clinical setting is preferred. Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Florida is required.
