Summary

Postdoctoral Fellow – Integrated Mathematical Oncology Dept: Translational Predictive Modeling Using Patient-Reported Outcomes

The Brady-Nicholls lab is primarily focused on developing patient-specific, predictive models of minimally- and non-invasive biomarkers. Patient-reported outcomes (PROs) are increasingly collected as part of a patient’s routine care, as they provide an easily-accessible, personalized assessment of a patient’s quality of life before, during, and after treatment. Changes in specific PROs over time can be important indicators of patient response that can be used to personalize treatment.

Applications are sought for the position of Postdoctoral Fellow to analyze patient-specific PRO dynamics and identify correlates to treatment response, that can subsequently be used to predict tumor dynamics. We are seeking an ambitious and talented researcher with a background in applied mathematics, computational biology, computer science or similar area. The Integrated Mathematical Oncology department provides a unique, collaborative environment integrating expertise from mathematicians, biologist, experimentalist, and clinical oncologists. This clinical data-driven project will be multi-disciplinary, working closely with collaborators in the Health Outcomes and Behavior department.
