Position Description:
In this position you will work with our Advanced Manufacturing team on a variety exciting projects. This paid position is located at our global headquarters in Racine, Wisconsin. The typical assignment spans 2 to 3 semesters. The individual in this position is responsible for supporting manufacturing process development activities related to Industry 4.0 / IIoT. The incumbent will also support existing process improvement activities and new product launch activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Support Advanced Manufacturing Engineers with:
Process Development
- Conduct process and part experiments, trials, or testing
- Specification creation / modification
- Enhance engineering tools and processes to make the engineering functions more efficient.
Product Launch
- Tooling and equipment acquisition
- Design for manufacturability
- APQP process documentation
Support proof of concept projects to integrate new IIoT / Industry 4.0 manufacturing technologies into Modine plants
Perform hands-on tasks for assisting in producing equipment/tooling

Required Qualifications:

Basic solid modeling and drawing skill-set (SolidEdge, ProE, UG, or Catia CAD software).
Proven troubleshooting, mechanical, and analytical skills
Customer-focused attitude
Dedicated to quality and safety
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment while taking ownership of projects
Available for limited travel with over-night stays

Sophomore standing in engineering degree program
