For more information about Modine, visit www.modine.com.Position Description:The Human Resources (HR) Community Relations Specialist is responsible for delivering all facets of talent development and workforce program success for Modine’s plants in Grenada, MS. This will be achieved through the development of local recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies, and resources as well as developing new, creative community program recruitment ideas. Key Responsibilities:

Leverage resources and partnership with AccelerateMS and associated Mississippi workforce programs
Track measurables associated with the AccelerateMS workforce programs
Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees
Represent Modine at local job fairs and college career days within a 90-mile radius from Grenada
Develop and track measurable facets of the recruiting and hiring process, so that the processes are transparent and measurable; Set continuous improvement goals
Strength Modine’s local brand recognition

Required Qualifications:

2 years of Human Resources (HR) experience is required
Prior experience with recruitment, technical recruiting is a plus
General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
Strong interpersonal communication skills; Outgoing, energetic with a passion to network
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to problem-solve in a timely manner
Strong in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) as well as social media channels i.e., LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and more!

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree is required

Travel:

Occasional travel will be required to local job fairs or community recruitment efforts; Expect to travel 1x per week, no further than 90-mile radius outside of Grenada
