ModMed is hiring a driven Supervisor of RCM Client Success responsible for monitoring, supporting, and coaching a team of RCM Client Advisors to ensure successful practice revenue performance, client satisfaction, referenceability, and contractual scope delivery across their team's entire practice portfolio. This role supervises RCM Advisors to regularly and proactively evaluate client metrics to ensure optimal revenue performance and guides RCM Advisors with client-specific action plans that lead to resolution.

Your Role:

  • Lead, mentor, and empower a team of dedicated RCM Client Advisors to excel in their roles and achieve exceptional results.
  • Drive the management and monitoring of Practice Performance Plans, facilitating the identification, quantification, and resolution of issues impacting service levels and contractual obligations, while ensuring accountability among all stakeholders, including clients.
  • Champion a culture of excellence in customer service by collaborating with operations team members to efficiently address insurance and billing-related concerns, delivering high value to both client practices and their patients.
  • Coach and develop your team to manage client escalations, ensuring prompt and effective resolution while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction and retention.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of standardized processes and experiences for clients, fostering consistency and efficiency in service delivery.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of client portfolios to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, sharing actionable insights with clients and internal partners to enhance key performance indicators and drive the achievement of Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Actively participate in regular client meetings to review business metrics, track progress, and discuss proactive strategies for optimizing the delivery of contracted services, ensuring alignment with client objectives and expectations.
  • Oversee team scalability by managing resource allocation and workload distribution to meet evolving client needs.
  • Engage in strategic initiatives and special projects, such as standardizing client agendas and streamlining communication processes for recurring scenarios.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement in client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members to foster their professional growth and development.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years of related RCM experience in a client-facing role required
  • 3 years of prior supervisory and team development experience in a related field
  • Dermatology medical billing expertise
  • Expertise in medical billing, front-office, physician practice management, and healthcare business processes with a strong understanding of various insurance carriers, including Medicare, private HMOs, and PPOs
  • Comprehensive understanding of the full revenue cycle process for claim submission, medical insurance policies, and ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to develop staff's Excel skills, such as the ability to use formulas to analyze data, create and format pivot tables and templates, use and conditional formatting and validation functions. Able to create visualizations of data through charts and graphs
  • Develop expertise knowledge in respective ModMed products (PM or gPM) within 5 months of employment
  • Mastery of spreadsheets including the ability to manage information located in multiple software systems
  • Ability to demonstrate and assist staff with the development of their Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Fee For Service, Capitation, Worker's Compensation
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team as well as the ability to train & guide others in workflows and projects
  • Effectively manages time in order to help others
  • Excellent client-facing and presentation skills
  • Professional demeanor required
