The Scrum Master is responsible for communicating and collaborating primarily with the engineering, customer success and senior management teams. This role includes running daily scrums, managing the product backlog, collaborating on requirement documentation, managing support tickets and unblocking barriers to keep the team moving.

What the role entails:

-Manages development projects and facilitates sprint releases

-Creates or analyzes business requirements documents and project timelines

-Guides team in time estimating practices and facilitates team estimates

-Drives team iteration execution, communicates with management and stakeholders

-Able to do post mortem and root cause analysis to help teams continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivity

-Implements and supports principles, rules and processes

-Proactively identifies and eliminates impediments and facilitate flow

-Maintains team data in project management software (i.e. JIRA and others) to support estimates and execution

What you need to flourish:

-Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 5 years of project management experience and 3 years leading sprints

-Thrives in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment

-Expert coach on implementation of agile scrum

-Deep understanding of the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development

-Demonstrable expertise of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.

-Deep understanding of agile metrics (tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.) to analyze and improve sprint planning

-Comfortable with presenting project readouts to executive and C-level audience

Compensation: $17,280 Monthly - Salary for this role is commensurate with prior experience. A comprehensive benefits package is included.
