Modern Spare is a local small business looking to hire a part time (approximately 15-20 hours per week) operations member to actively help grow our organization and become directly involved in the company’s success. We value ambition but also enjoy a fun and relaxed work environment. We are primarily an ecommerce company that specializes in producing and selling specialized high end auto parts worldwide. An interest and understanding of cars is very helpful, but not required. The ideal candidate will be self disciplined, organized, and highly motivated. IT Experience/Skills

Sales and/or marketing experience

Experience in the Automotive industry, or a general understanding of the basic components of vehicles (brakes, wheels, tires, etc)

Responsibilities

In this position you will be working within operations to assemble customer orders for shipment. This will involve placing various automotive components (weighing 30 lbs or less individually) in a box to complete an order. Key responsibilities are as follows:

• Work with a team of 2-4 employees
• Assemble, pack, and ship orders
• Implement efficiency processes

Being a smaller company a team member will often wear “multiple hats” and must have the ability to solve problems and think critically. This being said, we are a rapidly growing company with significant opportunities for employee advancement. This position offers the ability to transition into a full time position with higher level responsibilities if desired. Given the nature of our business we offer a highly flexible schedule with the ability to work various hours. This position is ideal for a student or those needing a flexible schedule.

Hours:

Our hours of operation are from 8 am to 5 pm Mon - Fri. This position requires 15-20 hours per week on average. For the most part, one can specify when their hours will be worked, as long as it is during our normal business hours. For example, one could choose to work Mon, Wed, & Fri from 8 am -1 pm.

What to Expect From Us:
