Description

 As an extruder operator 1 you are entrusted with the responsibility of providing assistance to all extrusion operators, shift leads and shift supervisors. The primary purpose of your role is to ensure that all products coming off the line are cut to the correct specified dimensions, stacked on the proper size pallets and are free from any defects in manufacturing. You are required to work in a safe and courteous manner and ensure that your work area is kept clean and free from any hazards that may impede your ability to perform your job safely. You must keep a running total of boards produced according to the production schedule and ensure that all orders are filled correctly and that an accurate board count and pallet are always kept current. Requirements

Must be able to stand for up to 5 hours at a time.

Must be able to read a measuring tape effectively.

Must be able to use a square.

Must be able to use a skill saw.

Must be able to speak and read the English language and communicate well with others.

Must be able to lift, push, pull and stand for long periods.

Must be able to work independently and effectively.
