 Summary: This role involves being a crucial part of a production team, responsible for ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. It may also require adaptability and the ability to handle both simple and complex production tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Meeting Production Plans and Objectives: The primary responsibility of the individual in this role is to ensure that daily and weekly production targets are met. This involves working efficiently and effectively to produce the required output within the specified timeframes.

2. Program Creation and Loading: The role involves creating and loading both simple and advanced programs or setups into production equipment. This could refer to computerized instructions or settings that dictate how the equipment should operate to produce specific products or parts.

3. Tooling: The person is responsible for ensuring that the appropriate tools are in place for the production process. This includes selecting, setting up, and maintaining tools and equipment needed for the job.

4. Operating Equipment: Operating production equipment is a core part of the role. This includes running machines or assembling manufactured components, monitoring machine performance, and making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity levels.

5. Maintaining Quality: Quality control is crucial in a production environment. The individual is expected to maintain a high level of quality in the products being produced, ensuring they meet established standards and specifications.

Requirements

Qualifications/Skills:

· Strong mechanical aptitude

· Detail oriented 

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Proficient in math

· Basic computer skills

· Ability to perform repetitive tasks

Education/Experience:

· High School degree or equivalent

· Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly

· HAAS mill

· Mazak lathe

· Manual mill/lathe

· Automated saw

· MasterCAM (preferred)
