Associate Publisher Job Description
PURPOSE

Modern Luxury is seeking an Associate Publisher for the AUSTIN office. The Associate Publisher is expected to have strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Candidate must be a team player and able to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Manages sales activities and overall direction of publication by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

MINIMUM COMPETENCIES
Education
Bachelor’s degree; or two to four years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals,
professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
