Job Title: Trash Valet Technician

Location: Plano & Frisco

Overview: As a Trash Valet Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of designated areas within residential or commercial properties. Your primary duty will be to collect and dispose of trash from designated locations, providing exceptional service to residents or tenants. The role requires attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular trash valet services in assigned areas within designated timeframes.
  • Collect and dispose of trash from designated locations, ensuring adherence to waste management guidelines and regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of trash collection areas, including but not limited to trash chutes, dumpsters, and trash valet stations.
  • Sort recyclable materials from non-recyclable waste, promoting environmental sustainability practices.
  • Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards related to trash collection areas.
  • Provide courteous and professional assistance to residents or tenants regarding trash disposal inquiries or concerns.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding waste disposal and sanitation protocols.
  • Collaborate with property management staff and maintenance personnel to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain equipment and tools used for trash valet services in good working condition.
  • Complete necessary documentation and reports related to daily activities and service logs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or waste management roles preferred.
  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift objects repeatedly.
  • Communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents, tenants, and team members.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, as well as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of waste management regulations and safety protocols.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required depending on the location.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry objects (up to 25 pounds) repeatedly.
  • Stamina to stand, walk, bend, and squat.
  • Capacity to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
