Modern Leaf Woodworks is Hiring a Cabinet Builder/Woodworker Near Wheat Ridge, CO

Modern Leaf Woodworks is a custom woodworking company based in Colorado, dedicated to crafting high-quality, bespoke cabinets for residential and commercial spaces. Responsibilities:
Cabinet Construction:

  • Construct and assemble custom cabinets according to design specifications and client requirements.
  • Utilize a variety of woodworking tools and machinery to cut, shape, and finish cabinet components.

Material Selection and Preparation:

  • Select and prepare high-quality materials, including wood, laminates, and hardware, ensuring they meet the project standards.
  • Familiarity with HVLP and air assisted spraying

Design and Build Plan interpretation:

  • Interpret and follow detailed design and build plans to produce accurate and visually appealing cabinets.

Quality Control:

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the final product meets the company's standards and exceeds client expectations.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the design and installation teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Tool Maintenance:

  • Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of all woodworking tools and equipment, reporting any issues promptly or make necessary adjustments.

Safety Compliance:

  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.

Project Management:

  • Ability to keep projects on time and materials in order as well insuring that quality is still met.

Shop Management:

  • Maintain a clean and safe shop, organized and efficient, ensuring essentials like sand paper, blades, glue etc are stocked and or sharpened and continually ready for production.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Cabinet Builder or similar role.

  • Proficient in working with a variety of woodworking tools and machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of cabinet construction techniques and materials.
  • Must have transpiration to job sites which are often located in Conifer & Evergreen foothills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design plans accurately.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and craftsmanship.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy materials.
  • Cabinet and other project installations at customers location.

Education and Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Additional certifications or training in woodworking or carpentry is a plus.
