Modern Ford of Boone has an immediate opening for an Automotive Service Technician. Come join the team of talented service and repair professionals at Modern Ford of Boone. Responsibilities for this position include:

• Diagnose malfunctions and perform vehicle repair and maintenance efficiently and accurately, as outlined on the assigned repair order and in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
• Communicate with Service Advisor immediately if additional work is required.
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Other service duties may be assigned.

Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years of experience and/or training, be highly organized and possess excellent communication and customer service skills. Applicants may be asked occasionally to lift up to 70 lbs. A High school diploma or GED is required. CDK experience preferred.
