Modern Dispersions, Inc. (MDI) is seeking a full-time QC Lab Technician to join our team.

The technician will be responsible for performing basic and advanced quality control tests to ensure that the quality of products are consistent with established standards. Candidate will also be responsible for performing computer work (MS office), completing necessary production paperwork, packaging samples, maintaining good housekeeping, and running a rider-type industrial forklift.

MDI is a thermoplastics compounder and masterbatch manufacturer. MDI is known for providing the best value and highest quality black Masterbatch in the market. MDI’s products are used in pipe, wire cable, agriculture, packaging, and automotive applications. In addition, MDI’s products provide UV protection, electrical conductivity, and structural reinforcement.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 1 years of experience in a quality control environment

· Strong attention to detail and work ethic

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to read and follow instructions.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Experience with fork trucks desired but not required

Additional Information:

Location: Leominster, MA – This a full-time in-person position

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 5 pm | Friday, 7 am - 4 pm

Pay Rate: Starting $19.00/hr, increasing to $20.00/hr in 6 months based on performance.
