Aggregate Sales Representative

The Aggregate Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships under the direction of the Aggregate Operations Manager. The successful candidate will have a background in operations with strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience or equivalent education in aggregate, stone, or sand industry.
• Familiarity and knowledge of construction or aggregates strongly preferred, not required.
• Professional demeanor, the ability to learn technical processes, high-level verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous customer service or sales experience.
• Local market knowledge with established relationships preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to remain organized while handling multiple projects/tasks.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Word and Excel) needed.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities include

• Strong Work Ethic: Uses time efficiently and ensures job duties, issues, and concerns are handled in a timely, appropriate manner.
• Integrity: Acts with unyielding integrity and honesty in business transactions, promoting company policies, and holding self-accountable.
• Daily self-initiated interactions with assigned customer base.
• Turn around quotes quickly and always within the time requirements of the customer.
• Taking orders with all necessary information and scheduling work orders through dispatch.
• Actively work with the sales team to monitor business opportunities and maximize revenue.
• Quickly and efficiently resolve customer complaints and problems.
• Assist with collections of account receivables from customers.
• Attending assigned job sites and meetings as needed.
• Continually develop and enhance product knowledge and product changes and selling strategies.

Work Environment

• Requires being exposed to extremes of hot, cold, and wet weather.
• Exposure to fumes, gases, and dust on a regular basis.
• Working early dark mornings will often be required.
• Working near live traffic and moving mechanical parts, conveyors, and pumps.
• Long hours, sometimes more than 5 days a week.

Salary may vary dependent on education and experience level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,028.00 - $70,044.00 per year
