Pay Range: $85,000 to $90,000

In this role, you will play a critical role for the company and will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments. As a Windows / Azure Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our Windows-based systems and Azure cloud services. You will work closely with our IT Manager to advance our IT infrastructure by implementing best practices in deployment of new services, system maintenance and security.

Responsibilities

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:

• Manage and maintain Windows Server and Azure cloud environments, to ensure optimal performance and security, including Active Directory, Azure virtual servers, Intune/Autopilot, Application deployment, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
• Assist in optimizing existing platforms such as resource management, mail backup, and MDR tools, and make recommendations to align the company with industry best practices.
• Assist in managing storage solutions, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
• Implement and monitor system security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute the deployment of new applications and system updates.
• Document IT procedures, configurations, and inventory to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• 4 years experience in an IT field, with 1-2 years of experience in Windows administration.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, Azure, Intune, and PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of storage solutions, backup strategies, and virtualization technologies (preference for Hyper-V.)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to mentor junior IT staff.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Familiarity with networking a plus.
